Need a delicious treat or snack?

I was really surprised that the caramel sea salt bars tasted good. I'm not a huge caramel fan, I wouldn't mind some caramel covered apples but it wouldn't be the first treat I would normally gravitate towards. However, the caramel in these fiber one bars weren't overly sweet or sticky. The bar was soft and I enjoyed eating it during my morning breaks at lunch or on the road when we had to travel to visit grandparents during the weekend. It's only available for a limited time at Target, so grab a box if you can.

Excited for bake-off goodies!

Last week I received a package in the mail and it included Reynold Wrap aluminum foil, parchment paper, slow cooker liner, a recipe book, cupcake liners, pillsbury flour, vanilla extract, a free product coupon for cookie dough and a $10 visa gift card.

Guess what I ended up making? Chocolate chip cookies! The ingredients included 3/4 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 2 sticks of softened butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 egg. After you mix that up, you put 2 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt. It will be kind of chunky. Go ahead and add 12 oz semi chocolate chips and mix together. If you like adding chopped nuts, you can but that's optional. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Let cool and then enjoy! :)

Awesome treats available at Target!

I was super excited to be selected to try the following products. Trix brought back childhood memories. I've always been a fan of Honey Nut Cheerios, now they made it even better with medley crunch. Nature valley granola crunch bars make a very good snack. I enjoy eating it during my morning breaks. The goodies were a good variety. Who doesn't love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? Nutella is such a treat to have with toast or waffles. Quaker oats is delicious topped with fresh fruit. I haven't tried the apple sauce yet but I might use it inside a banana bread recipe. Here is a picture of some nature valley granola clusters on top of my yogurt, excellent way to make your own parfait!

Introducing chocolate toast crunch!

I'm pretty sure all of us have tried cinnamon toast crunch before... it's one of my favorite cereals. I love how crunchy and tasty each bite is. However, I was quite surprised to find out there's a chocolate version. Take a look at the top picture below to see what the box looks like (all the way left) and then the second picture is what I had for breakfast this morning. It comes in the same size and shape as the regular squares we are used to...except it makes your milk chocolately after you eat it :P

My review of Multi-grain Cheerios Dark Chocolate

My husband and I like eating something quick and easy whenever we are in a rush to get to work. I was really excited to try new Cheerios multi-grain dark chocolate this morning. It is crunchy and just the amount of sweetness. I also liked how it turned my milk into chocolate milk. Mmm! It makes a delicious snack too.
